Chris J. Fox
Partner, Attorney at Law
Biography
Chris J. Fox was born in Johnson City, Tennessee. He spent several years working as a professional caddie at the Ocean Course of Kiawah Island, South Carolina. He then obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree from East Tennessee State University (“ETSU”). Chris earned Dean’s List Honors during multiple semesters of his college career. He then attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where he served as a member of the Sports and Entertainment Society and was also elected the Student Body Association Representative during his 2L year. Chris earned his Juris Doctorate, passed the Georgia Bar Exam, and was sworn in as an attorney in the State of Georgia in 2014.
Chris began his legal career with the DeKalb County Conflict Defender’s Office. He subsequently took on employment with a large South Metro Atlanta law firm as a criminal defense trial attorney. He immediately showed talent as a trial attorney and began to collect “Not Guilty” verdicts. He was quickly promoted to the position of Lead Attorney, where he supervised the Henry County office. Chris subsequently returned to the DeKalb County Conflict Defender’s Office, where he was assigned to two Superior Court State Courtrooms as a trial attorney. As a Conflict Defender, Chris primarily handled complex co-defendant felony cases, where the stakes were very high. After approximately three years of intense criminal defense trial work, Chris decided to branch out into the civil arena, specifically into the field of personal injury law. Chris then took a job as a litigation attorney with a boutique personal injury firm in the Metro Atlanta area. As in criminal law, Chris immediately garnered great results in the courtroom with his civil cases. He acquired “Plaintiff Verdicts/Awards,” time and time again.
From there, he joined his wife, Melody Fox, and assisted in building a personal injury firm in the South Metro Atlanta area. Chris and Melody worked together in developing and growing this personal injury firm into a highly successful law office. During this time, Chris gained a reputation as diligent, committed, intelligent, and highly skilled personal injury attorney. However, after 4 years and a great deal of success at the previous firm, Chris and Melody agreed that it was time to for the two of them to create their own law firm. Thus, at the beginning of 2023, Fox Injury Law was born!
Chris brings his experience in the courtroom, his skills in negotiation, and his overall knowledge in the personal injury industry to Fox Injury Law, where he strives every single day to achieve the absolute best results for his clients. By numerous accounts, Chris is known as a “straight shooter”, and as an extremely efficient personal injury attorney in the Atlanta area. In every moment of his workday, Chris works to put his clients first, while attempting to master his craft and grow Fox Injury Law into a premiere Atlanta law firm.
In his free time, Chris enjoys playing golf, watching movies, and taking hikes with his family and dog, Lucky. Above all else though, Chris loves spending time with his wife, stepdaughter, and 3-year-old son. When not fighting for his clients, he enjoys watching boxing, the PGA Tour, and the Atlanta Braves crush its competition.
